Right now, I want most to feel well, be healthy, be happy, and experience joy.

I would like to learn how I can take more time for myself, to be reflective, to stay organized and focused on one thing instead of the dozen or so distractions that I think I have to pay attention to.

Anger is a good indicator of where I am on any subject or circumstance and helps me reflect on what it is about me that responds in such a way to the subject, person, circumstance . . . and it all really boils down to how and what I think. barbara

Heaven is where we are only a thought away from instant connection with others who love and support us and where we have learned to create an existence from love and respect.

I am not sure "time" exists . . . when I read this question, my mind automatically translated "time" to "energy" and the only energy we have available to us is that which is in the now, the present and I think that is how I would respond: give yourself (myself) fully in the present moment to whomever, or whatever, we choose to focus on. Our life's decisions have led us to this present moment and if the present is not pleasing, or if one finds it disturbing, and wants to change it, then that is what requires one's attention or "time." On the other hand, if the present is pleasing and wonderful, one might want to spend more "time" maintaining it or increasing the joy. A long philosophical answer to what seems like a simple question . . . and in the spirit of being reasonable, I think people should give their "time" to that which matters most to them. happy life to all. barbara

Winter is a time for the earth to rest, to restore, and quietly heal. I think as humans with our wonderful technology that allows us to be just as active in winter as we are in summer, we miss out on the need to slow ourselves down, allow some aspects of ourselves to lie dormant for a few months, to sleep the longer, darker hours away. Give me a fireplace, a book, lots of food, and the comfort of a cat on my lap with my loved ones within arm's reach, and I believe I have found heaven. barbara

that another person and another person and another person will realize if we can have peace, love, kindness, charity, understanding, compassion, and well-being for one day, it is really just a matter of doing it again the next, and the next, and the next . . . these gifts cost nothing . . . they reduce stress . . . each gift is perfect all by itself.

writing a good story or essay -- I love to tangle words together in ways no one ever has before and make people laugh and smile and think more deeply about their existence and feel more connected to the universal truths that we inherently know keep us all together
