When do you take time to reflect on your day?

Posted on Jan 9th, 2009 by barbara : eternal presence barbara
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 09, 2009:

Oh, dear . . . a timely, gentle reminder that I do not do this daily, or enough, or with any regularity. When I do, I meditate for 10 to 15 minutes in the morning upon awakening (directly after those whiny kitties are fed and the coffee is put on to brew). At the end of the meditation, I take a minute or two to envision my day, see myself as healthy and joyfully moving through all the motions. In the evenings, I journal a page or two and always begin with the most positive aspect of the day. I end with my intent to sleep with peace and healing and when I visit with the spirits in the night, my experience will unfold for me all the secrets that I am. barbara

…funny you should state it that way.

A dear friend of mine was having insomnia attacks through the night and stated, just that!
She said that:  “the only way I can get to sleep these days, is when “I know” that I have someone else to confront my troubles to when no one else will listen, and that all the intelligent force of the divine nature about me are healing and listening to me…and what makes me feel most comfortable through the night is that, even though people around me don’t understand my ways, I at least know that the spirits will listen and guide me to their comfort zone of warmth, understanding and intellect”.
Since then, her sleep has been smooth sailing.
Cute, huh!
