somewhere along the creative process, I inherited something called "vision" or the ability to see my circumstances along with the wisdom of what I could change and what I could not change . . . should I have held out for more?

Wow, look at you! Want me to hold some that for you? Barbara, you are fortunate indeed to have such “vision”. I know so many people who simply can't be happy, or satisfied, or content “until”. Until they have this, until they get that, until they've been here or maybe there. There are so many conditions to be fulfilled until they can be fulfilled. Waste of a lifetime to me, not that I've always been happy with my lot in life, “until”. “Until” I quit blaming some one besides myself, until I finally did something about it myself. Should you have held out for more? I think you've hit the Jackpot!
Oh, by the way, pardon my digression, there's a small challenge on my post.
