if you were a judge, what sort would you be?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 03, 2009:
I would be the judge of sunrises and sunsets. In judging the sunrise, I would determine if my day can be as beautiful or surpass the magnificence of the earth swirling in space to bring me face to face with that which brings light to life. Even on a cloudy day, I would sentence myself to honoring that life exists in spectacular glory even if I don't always witness it. In judging the sunset, I would examine my thoughts, actions, and feelings of the day and determine if I met my own expectations . . . did I serve my sentence well? Did I honor my life by living it to the best of my ability?
